2012!

We welcome new families to the choir and returning families as well. We hope that 2012 will be a wonderful year and filled with amazing
experiences.

Main Choir and Katandra Voices

Lutanda Camp Toukley (23/3/12 – 25/3/12) is our first activity in 2012. It will be a fun-filled weekend of singing, composing and getting to know your fellow chorister. St Peter’s Vocal Group will also be joining us and we are excited to hopefully have Paul Jarman, an energetic and charismatic Australian composer to lead our sessions. Our concert on 11^th May will feature the songs we will have worked on during camp. The estimated cost of this weekend is $190. We ask for a deposit of $50 as soon as possible please. We also need 3 (have 1 – Judy) parents willing to help on the Saturday and Sunday. Even if it is just one day, please let us know. We will need you to supervise the outdoor activities whilst we run the choral sessions with Paul.

The big event for Main Choir and KV this year will be a trip to Canberra, in August, to compete in the National Eisteddfod followed by a day
at the snow. We will be going by coach. If you would like us to consider you as a parent helper please advise Nicole, our manager (I may forget).  To help you budget for this trip you are more than welcome to set up a direct debit into our account.
